Losing weightFebruary 12, 2010 - 11:40am — JRFrancYeah, so weird, since we started I have definitely been working out, and doing lots of different things to lose weight, but after losing 5 pounds the first weeks, i seem to be stuck at my current weight, kinda wondering what I need to do to fix it, but seem to be losing heart on my goal. Having trouble exercisingFebruary 9, 2010 - 2:38pm — supshawIn answer to having trouble exercising. I find it difficult on my own. If you have the option of getting together with a frend or the more the merrier it helps me. I go to Gett Fitt but that is an expense. You could invest in a exercise video at minimal cost. or just put on music and make up you own moves. Have you been to line dancing? come tonight and try it. Liincoln School . Keep working on it. You just have to make it a part of your daily routine. Doon't give up! |
Challenge:February 8, 2010 - 11:06am — joyI was wanting to challenge each person to match our weight loss with a donation to the local food pantry. I know that I would rather donate 10 pound of potatoes, 5 lbs of flour or sugar, or a lb. can of vegetable to the food pantry than carry that weight around for the next year. It would be great if everyone would bring the weight they think they will lose in food to the final weigh-in on March 11th. This would be a SMALL thank you for the community for the motivation to get moving on the weight lose!!!!! I am sure thankful for the motivation, I needed to do it. It is always so easy to say "tomorrow", "when the weather gets better", or any number of other excuses. I know that each of us have had their own. This was just a good "DO IT NOW!!!!!!" |
