Get Fun

I am just giving a Ditto to Wilma's blog on the line dancing, health and fitness classes presented by Roger, and the food classes I was able to attend. GREAT! Also, Sonny for all her efforts to get this going and coordinate every thing. We had a great time with Damaris and wish she could get a class started on a regular basis. Thanks to all involved.

Great Learning and Great Fun!

Hey to all who have been diligently working on your weight loss. What I have enjoyed the most is seeing new people and sharing the challenges with them. The classes given by Roger Campbell on health and fitness have been really good. We would all be healthier and happoer if we just take care of this body we have. Then our line dancing classes have brought a few of us together as we enjoy Demaris and her patience with some of us who are slower learners than other(myself in this category). It is great exercise and a lot of fun. Thanks Roger and Demaris for giving of your time and know-how.

Having trouble exercising

In answer to having trouble exercising. I find it difficult on my own. If you have the option of getting together with a frend or the more the merrier it helps me. I go to Gett Fitt but that is an expense. You could invest in a exercise video at minimal cost. or just put on music and make up you own moves. Have you been to line dancing? come tonight and try it. Liincoln School . Keep working on it. You just have to make it a part of your daily routine. Doon't give up!

When you gain

Sometimes it seems difficult to lose after the initial fluid loss. I gained back a pound this week. You just have to stick with it and stay on track don't give up. I exercised a lot this week walking, bootcamp everyday and line dancing one night. It could be that I have gained muscle not fat and muscle weighs more. I am not giving up so I you gface similar issues take heart it will come off with persistance.

First week of Meltdown

The first week always seems to be the easieat for me as I am all enthused about the new program and other participants that are joining in to look and feel great. You just have to set reasonable goals and you will make progress. NEVER GIVE UP!

Roger's Class

Yes, it was very imformative. I have been exercising with Roger for at least 5 years. Have been a member of his fitness center for I don't know how long! He makes you feel how important your health is to you and to him. His goal is to keep us living longer with a good lifestyle. He also teaches a "Boot Camp" and we touch every part of our bodies in these workouts. Ask him about boot camp or ask me. I hope to be able to attend most of his classes,

Getting offTo a Good Start

Remember being committed to something is half the battle. Call your team mates and do something together like the walking clubs. We are trying to commit to three mornings a week. The classes by Roger Campbell should be fun and help you get started. Hope to see some of you at 6:00pm at the Mary Ellen Stadler Room at ACH
