How much water?

To know how much water your body needs, take your weight and divide it by two to get the number of ounces you need per day.  For example, a 160 pound person needs 80 ounces of water a day!  When many people find this out, they realize they don't have room in their daily beverage "budget" to spend on sugary soft drinks.  These provide only empty calories to our body and zero nutrients.  Work up to this goal of half your body weight in ounces slowly, and you'll see the benefits on the scale!
